During my 25+ year career as a designer, I have worked in womenswear, childrens-wear, accessories, interiors and homewares. From fashion to furniture, from ceramics to print and graphics, from iconic global brands to independent start-ups from New York to London.

Over the years, I have watched the evolution of the sustainability movement in fashion with interest, but have been disappointed in the lack of alternatives to polyester available in occasion wear. 

I have always loved colour and the way it can lift your mood and change your mindset, but have struggled to find solid, bright woven pieces that were versatile. I wanted pieces to wear with heels for an event one night and with trainers and a white tee the next. I don't wear florals or leopard prints and found that there was little else on offer.

I wanted forever designs to sit with my wardrobe icons, converse, denim and a crisp white shirt.

Colour Story is just that, beautiful shapes, bold colours, ethically and sustainability made from organic cotton. Versatile enough for the BAFTAs or brunch.
